At the heart of Riga's cultural scene, the
Latvian National Opera has just premiered the ballet
Esmeralda, with
PROLIGHTS fixtures playing a key role in the show's visual storytelling.
A total of 26
ArcSpot DOTFC units, supplied by
Rock Distribution, were used to illuminate scenic props, including the striking dragon heads featured on stage.
Prior to the production, a demo fixture was tested on site together with the lighting designer
Oskars Pauliņš to assess its fit within the decorative elements and the quality of light. The fixture integrated perfectly into the props and delivered excellent results, leading the team to move forward with
PROLIGHTS for the production.
The
ArcSpot DOTFC is a compact IP66-rated spot luminaire equipped with a 20W RGB+WarmWhite LED source and a 5° ultra-narrow beam, delivering 590 lumens. Designed for precise lighting of architectural details and scenic elements, it is part of the broader ArcSpot range, known for its flexibility and reliability in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Chosen for its performance and adaptability,
PROLIGHTS has once again demonstrated its efficiency and quality in theatrical settings where visual impact and technical reliability are essential.
