Bærum Kulturhus, a prestigious cultural venue in Norway, recently upgraded its lighting system, replacing its 22-year-old 2.5kW profiles with the advanced PROLIGHTS EclProfile CT+HP fixtures. PROSTAGE, PROLIGHTS Sales partner in Norway, managed this upgrade.

The venue had long been searching for a reliable LED profile capable of replacing its incandescent 2.5kW fixtures while maintaining the same light intensity at the throw distances required by the venue's installation. The EclProfile CT+HP met and exceeded these expectations.

Equipped with a powerful 450W, 6-color LED source, the fixture significantly reduces energy consumption, increases brightness, and offers exceptional flexibility through precise control of color, color temperature, and dimming curves. It not only matched the required lux levels and ensured high-quality white projection at 3000K but also offered a flexible tool capable of reproducing the entire white spectrum and vibrant colors through its additive LED source - eliminating the need for traditional color filters and the associated maintenance and re-lamping operations.

This upgrade also marks a significant milestone for Bærum Kulturhus in terms of sustainability. By eliminating lamp replacements, reducing the risks associated with working at height, and lowering both energy consumption and heat emission within the venue, the installation supports a more efficient and safer working environment.
