The Dutch festival season got off to a thrilling start as Guus Meeuwis took the stage at Paaspop 2025 with an explosive performance and a striking new floor set, made possible by the PROLIGHTS HaluPix Duo.

For this special event, light designer Marco Driessen of Light your Design created a bold and immersive visual setup using 80x HaluPix Duo units, arranged in groups of ten and mounted on eight custom-built dollies. The fixtures allowed for full pixel-level control, enabling precise and creative lighting animations throughout the show. Their powerful video and strobe capabilities added depth and dynamics to the stage, while the dual light sources with extended throw ensured impactful and consistent illumination across the venue.

“By controlling the RGB WW pixels and the 2700K° Beams via both a content server and a lighting console, we create plenty of possibilities to give each song by Guus the right atmosphere,” said Marco Driessen. “I am very impressed by the output, the color temperature and the construction of the panel. The fact that you can curve the panel beautifully was the deciding factor for me to take the HaluPix on this new tour,” he added.

The lighting direction was led by Mike Driessen, and Ampco Flashlight Rental procured all equipment for the project through Full AVL, the official PROLIGHTS distributor in the Netherlands. In addition to supplying the gear, Ampco led the technical integration in close cooperation with Light your Design.

The performance marked the launch of Guus Meeuwis's 2025 tour, promoted by Modestus and Agents After All.
