A major lighting upgrade has recently been completed at St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls' Joy Shepherd Performing Arts Centre in Western Australia. The new system includes 20 PROLIGHTS Jet Profile300LT fixtures, supplied and distributed by Show Technology. Installation was carried out by Wes Events, Richard Timms Lighting, and St Hilda's PAC Manager Noah G.
Designed to enhance the venue's capabilities across theatre productions, dance performances, and live events, the new rig represents a significant step forward for the school's performing arts infrastructure.
The upgraded system made its official debut during the 50th Annual Finley Awards, presented by the Independent Theatre Association, becoming the first event to run under the new lighting configuration. For the occasion, in addition to the base rig, Richard Timms Lighting provided a supporting floor package featuring 10 PROLIGHTS Jet Profile300LT units.
The fixture had drawn the attention of Australian lighting design company Richard Timms Lighting during Show Technology's Perth Showcase. After a direct shootout against other fixtures, the Jet Profile300LT stood out for its power, precision, and flexibility, proving a strong match for the wide range of productions supported by the company.
Richard Timms Lighting also deployed the fixture on a dance performance, pairing it with PROLIGHTS Astra Hybrid330 units to add beam-and-spot versatility and dynamic effects to the rig. The positive experience has led the company to plan further Jet Profile300LT purchases in the coming months.
PROLIGHTS continues to stand out as a benchmark for performance and reliability in the lighting industry. Across Australia, the Jet Profile300LT is increasingly being considered for new theatre and live event projects, thanks to its output, precision optics, and flexible feature set for both touring and installed applications.
